Okay, NOW you're pretty sure all the repair work is done, whatever nuts and bolts that Gremlin Hybrid had stolen has been replaced, and everything has been double-checked for no other missing bits or bobs. Thankfully, a few co-workers had jumped in and helped out, so repairs, the first round of checks, and a second round of checks had all gone quicker than planned; someone even took care of that climate control issue in the clinic for you! Now that your work is completely done, those energy shots you've been taking will no longer be needed and you can finally sleep for the first time in, uh, months... you think. How long have you been stuck on this again? ...You don't remember, oddly enough. A month, at minimum. You quickly realize you're exhausted, and there's no way you'll be able to stay awake for much longer. The walk home is a struggle; you definitely should've just collapsed at work somewhere. Hopefully you're not going to- === -you vaguely feel like you're being carried
They finally caught the culprit responsible for your awful, terrible, increased workload; some kind of "gremlin" Hybrid had taken a liking to all the nuts and bolts she can find, and had been stealing them, as well as anything else that might be shiny or pocketable. You're given three literal wheelbarrows full of scraps and bits and bobs and told about all this. Your brain's in a bit of a fog from having worked for nearly three (two? four?) weeks straight on nothing but regular injections from clinic LCs that drop by to help you whenever you're woozy from lack of sleep, but you get right on to working on replacing all the stolen goods and fixing whatever else is broken or dismantled. The punishment for the Hybrid is... spanking. You're not sure if the LCs involved are really aware of how many near-death, total catastrophic events she was nearly responsible for, but you don't particularly care right now, just gotta get this done. It's probably best if you can get this over with as
